RA Hosts Clark County MLK Scholarship Breakfast

Renaissance Academy played host to this year's MLK Scholarship Breakfast!

Renaissance Academy hosted the Clark County Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The special event, hosted by Clarksville Community Schools at Renaissance Academy, celebrated and honored Dr. King’s dream by presenting several students throughout Clark County with scholarships and Art Contest prizes.

Learners at Renaissance Academy gave a special presentation to more than 200 people at the event detailing Dr. King’s vision and how it impacts their lives and future.

Clarksville Community Schools had four winners in the Art and Media Contest that was open to all schools within Clark County!

CES:  Angela Hall, 3rd place (Mrs. Rauck)

CMS:  Natalia Carillo Mancera, 2nd place (Mrs. Peoples)

CHS/RA:  Brittney Andres, 2nd place (Ms. Denzik) — CHS

Billy Groves, 1st place-multi-media (Mrs. Bird) —  RA

Dr. King’s dream lives on through all students throughout Clark County. It was a special event honoring an extraordinary man.
