RA Learners Have Key Roles in Clarksville Cares

November 16th, 2016

Clarksville Cares is a program that was created in the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year in an effort to help supply students with school supplies, clothing, and food that kids may not have access to otherwise. Any student in need may benefit from this program.

Renaissance Academy learners play a key role in Clarksville Cares. Learners often devote hours of their time sorting through, shopping for, and packing supplies and food for those less fortunate. Major events include: Pack the Bus — which is a back to school event held to provide school supplies to set students up for success, Touch the Truck — a time to connect with community members and spread awareness of Clarksville Cares, and an annual gift wrapping event to prepare donated gifts for elementary school students to unveil on Christmas morning.

Donations for Clarksville Cares can be submitted online through PayPal or in person at Renaissance Academy.  CLICK HERE for additional information on how to help!
