Dr. Brian Allred
Director
Dr. Brian Allred was selected as the school’s director in November 2013. He has more than 15 years experience in education and was principal of Clarksville High School from 2009-2014. He was named Principal of the Year for District 12 of the Indiana Association of School Principals and led his school in the TAP initiative and the school’s achievement from an “F” rating to an “A” rating by the Indiana DOE for three consecutive years. Erin Lewis
Secretary and Treasurer
Mrs. Lewis is the Secretary and Treasurer at Renaissance Academy. She finished her Associates Degree in Health Care at Hopkinsville Community College. This is the first time she has worked in a school setting and enjoys the atmosphere and the learners and facilitators. She has been married for 12 years and has four children and a grandson. Mrs. Lewis is the person to call or email when you have a question! She is also the smiling face greeting you at the door!
Dominick Stella
Art Facilitator
Dominick Stella will be joining Renaissance Academy with five years of teaching experience. He began his teaching career in 2011 at Wawasee High School, left to pursue legal studies at the University of Chicago Law School, and then returned to the field of education to teach and coach at Martinsville High School for three years.
Stella is currently working toward a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Indiana University Bloomington’s Kelley School of Business.
Chris Keeler
Technology Facilitator
Mr. Chris Keeler is no stranger to Clarksville Community Schools! He has 20 years of experience as the industrial technology teacher at Clarksville High School! Mr. Keeler will be teaching Engineering and Robotics at Renaissance Academy!
Serina Dierfeldt
Special Education Facilitator
Ms. Serina Dierfeldt graduated from IU Southeast in 2014, and she has been a special education teacher at Clarksville Middle School for the past three years! Welcome to Renaissance Academy, Ms. Dierfeldt!
Emma Cudahy
Social Studies Facilitator
Miss Cudahy is joining Renaissance Academy this year after discovering her passion for the New Tech Network and Project Based Learning education during her student teaching appearance.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Miss Cudahy completed a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Anthropology at Indiana University Bloomington in 2013, and then continued her studies at IU by completing two Master’s degrees in History and Jewish!
Marina Kanare
Mathematics Facilitator
Ms. Kanare comes to Renaissance Academy with a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University. She has taught many different mathematics subjects for more than ten years. During her spare time, Ms. Kanare enjoys reading, long walks outdoors and travelling!

Pam Cooper
Master Teacher
Pam Cooper has 36 years experience in education, including with 12 years in school administration. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Evansville and a master’s degree in school administration from Indiana University Southeast. Ms. Cooper is the master teacher for Renaissance Academy and Clarksville High School. View Ms. Cooper’s introduction video here.

David Gardner
Science
David joined Renaissance Academy as a first-year teacher three years ago! He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Indiana University Southeast and earned his teaching certification through Indiana Wesleyan University’s Transition to Teaching program. Heather Gianfagna
English and College Career Readiness Facilitator
Dr. Heather Gianfagna is currently the English and College Career Readiness Facilitator. She comes to Renaissance Academy with more than 15 years of experience. She began her teaching career in 1999 at Corydon High School for five years, and 10 years at Floyd Central High School. Gianfagna has earned a Ph.D in Philosophy (Education Leadership) from Indiana State University, as well as her Master’s Degree in secondary education and three undergraduate degrees!
